Retrospective

The retrospective is a sprint activity where the team reflects on their performance and comes up with ways to improve the process of work.

The purpose of the retrospective is to celebrate the wins and address the issues the team had during the sprint.

By covering a few topics, each person shares their opinion and feelings about the sprint. Everyone also suggests the steps to enhance teamwork and avoid similar setbacks in the future.

Each team member answers the following questions, even if someone already mentioned the same idea:

– What went well?

– What didn’t go well?

– What should we change?

The concerns expressed several times have a higher priority, so the team focuses on their solution in the first place.

The retrospective happens regularly, depending on the needs of the team (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.). The same goes for the length of the retrospective.
